VIC 32 is
the last seagoing coal fired steam 'Clyde
Puffer'. She was built in 1943 and has
been well known for the last 30 years
on the West Coast of Scotland.
To keep the VIC 32 puffing gently through
the Crinan Canal and around the West Coast
we need your help.
The VIC 32 and the Mid Argyll Pipe
Band opened the Crinan Classics Festival
on July 1st 2010, playing in the sea
lock in front of a large crowd it
was an emotional event.
During
the festival visitors were offered
free one hour trips around Crinan
Bay and the opportunity to purchase
souvenirs from the VIC32 shop.
A DVD entitled 'Saving the VIC 32' detailing
the removal of the old boiler, the construction
and fitting of the new one and the voyage back
to Crinan has been ordered. It should be available
in the next few days, costing £14.50 plus
p&p. Make sure you order your copy.

year in her life, costing £6.00 plus p&p,
